Routine Service

Why do scheduled maintenance?

Regular maintenance is critical to ensure the safety, reliability, drivability, comfort and longevity of a vehicle. Routine service is a series of maintenance procedures carried out at a set time interval or after the vehicle has travelled a certain distance. It will save you money in the long run.

Routine service will vary depending on the make, model and year of the vehicle and not everthing will need be checked and/or replaced with each service. Some things to consider for your routine service are the number of trips and distance traveled per trip per day, whether you drive in extreme hot or cold climate conditions, mountainous, dusty or de-iced roads, heavy stop-and-go traffic or. long-distance cruising and whether you tow a trailer or other heavy load. Common maintenance includes: changing the engine oil, replacing the oil filter, replacing the air filter, replacing the fuel filter, replace the cabin filter, replacing the spark plugs. Checking the brake fluid level, brake pads/liners, brake discs/drums, the power steering fluid, the automatic/manual transmission fluid, tune the engine and inspect the timing belt or timing chain. And checking for any Error codes in the ECU (Engine Control Unit), along with checking the lights, condition of the tires, wipers, etc.
